DXB 'logic' of naming taxiways and aprons

Before you say anything I know I'm a sad git that needs to get life...etc

But Im seeing paterns of logic in the naming of the taxiways and apron in DXB or am I just adding 2+2 to make 5?

You do need to be in bunk with head towards a/c nose or you will be looking at the back of the IFE Oxygen:= will drop by your feet etc

B777 Landing lights in 'dim mode'

Have noticed when passing in the cruise a 777 the landing lights are dim but on.

The only ref I find in the FCOM is:


But this cant be it as the lights switches would be OFF during cruise....
