Why would they look at experienced FO's with time on type whom they actually have to pay peanuts to work for them, when they have more than enough applications from pilots who are willing to pay some...

With that kind of experience I strongly recommend you look into tanzania and kenya. I heard in kenya they are desperate for experienced pilots. They pay a decent salary as well.:)
