Can somebody explain why some pure delta wing airplanes didn't need a horizontal stabilizer? What makes it unnecessary?

Probably the best days of the ME are over. I don't know. But there will be a lot of city-pairs between Europe and Asia, and between Africa and Asia that won't justify a daily non-stop flight.

No, it doesn't expire, but you need a BFR every two years. And as you said 3 t/o's and landings in the last 90 days to carry pax.
And a medical, of course.

Good read. I bumped into this thread a few days ago and enjoyed reading it. I bet it was great to live in HK and fly for CX in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Best times in aviation.

I forgot to mention that I installed Chrome again and is working fine now.
I don't like firefox because it doesn't let you enlarge and reduce pages with the trackpad.
I tried Opera for a few days...
