Mariner9

NO NO NO !! The last thing this dispute needs is some political numpty interfering in something he doesn't understand. No matter how good his "briefing" is it cannot possibly cover all the twists and...

Volunteers

I, for one, will be rather glad when all the "volunteers" are trained up and BA can return to some sort of normality with respect to it's Customer Service. I assume that some of them are away from...

10 to 12 day strike

Well at least this length of strike should give all CC a chance to actually demonstrate support or rejection of the Unions leadership. Surely all of them should be rostered to report to work in that...

ST

"That is correct. Staff Travel is awarded after six months continuous service."

This is a quote off the other thread and I suppose indicates that after 6 months of loss of ST (April to October)...

Diplome

So it is rumour/scuttlebutt then?

IMHO it would be suicidal to depart from the previously published position of "no return of ST" , why lay the company open to unrest further down...

By the same argument, has BA ever put it's offer in the public domain ?? I am still slightly confused as to where this "offer" of restoring ST with loss of seniority came from.

Just asking...

Differences

Papillion

Your link seems to be at variance with the link to the Independant being posted on the other thread.

Which is likely to be correct ? (Ref restoration of ST)

Forward Bookings

Can't help thinking that all the talk about forward bookings is based on conjecture rather than facts. The bookings I am making, and researching, do not seem to be any cheaper compared with other...

How long a strike

One thing that intrigues me on these two discusion sites is the seeming disagreement between CC as to just how much support there is for this action.

Apparently ! some have not been able to show...

Lost Holiday

Snas

Lighten up, you are too close to this dispute to be objective.

Jack was merely highlighting the apparent senior age group in the CC(with a smiley) , this same senior age group that we...

Percentages

I think this question may have been partially answered on the "other" thread but perhaps someone could confirm it for me.

When the Company announces it has flown 60% of it's sorties today it...

Pax Retention

Much has been said on the two forums about the effect this dispute will have on BA's regular customers. IMHO opinion it will have a minimum impact providing the Company continues to give the value...

L/S haul workloads

The one thing this debacle has brought to my attention is the disparity of the workloads between Long and Short Haul. I flew MIA-Edin the day before the strike began, the MIA-LHR leg was as normal....
