Because the 6h MEP are a requirement for the beginning of an IR course. After these 6h you don't have a skill test, so you also won't have the MEP rating. This is the reason why CPL/IR/MEP training...

I think I will complete the mandatory 6h MEPL first and then do a CPL/IR/MEP course at one time.

Hi all,

My aim is to get the frozen ATPL. Now I've finished PPL and got few more than 150 hours total time. The next step would be the CPL/IR/MEP training.
What do you mean, does it make sense...
