1. No correction for steady tail wind.

2. Gusty tail winds .. no mention in any training manual !

rate of descent = deficit of power/ wt

as deficit of power ( minimum being flight idle) being constant, heavier the ac, less the rod.;)

Power = torque * rpm. do a simple exercise...

Power = torque * rpm.

do a simple exercise with the above formula and you will get rto power max, then t/o , then climb & last cruise.

So the torque does not give the full picture of the power...

ATR fcom gives best glide speed for obtruction, both engine out as Vmhb0. So this should be the Vx. this is best L/D spd

As Vy is generally more than Vx, Vy will be greater. i guess we'll have to...
