Logging instrument flight hours...

Can someone tell me whether it is possible to log FNPTII hours as instrument/IFR hours in your log book?? E.g. Training for IR renewal, MCC etc.?

I had a look at LASORS but couldn't find anything...

Just my opinion of course... But the guys I've come across who trained in the states at the so called JAA accredited schools can't fly for toffee...

Especially when it comes to the IR. Even basic...

So how are you supposed to know what circuit (traffic pattern) height is if there is no QFE? You have to mentally adjust QNH to take account of the aerodrome elevation, I take it?
