Just reported on ITV NEWS. The helicopter had 2 propellers, one was STOPPED , the other still TURNING!!! Obviously a unique helicopter. Journalism at its best , with ZERO mechanical Knowledge. !!

KAMOV Heavy lift in South Wales

A KAMOV helicopter flew into UK this week , via Shorham.
It was working on a heavy lift job near Pontypool in South Wales.
Apparently it flew in just for the job, then it flew back home to...

Hi Guys, yes ENSTROM FE'S are very scarce.

The only ones I know of are:

TIM PRICE - 480 and 280 based Shoreham

AL GWILT - 480 and 280 based Stapleford

You can just imagine the scenario, You are keen to get one of the above Ratings. You get a quote for the training (lets just say 5 hours plus test) so based on current UK prices for the above types...

FAA v CAA test

The typical CAA skills test is likely to be £250/300 , plus any travel cost,which could add another £50/100, then you have to pay the CAA close to £200 for the licence issue fee. total approx £500+.....
