Capt.'s Return

Philip2141

This has always bothered me. When the CVR first came out, some were quick to support PNF as having some concept of the situation but limited by authority and what PF was actually...

Boo to the BEA

I am sorry, but I do think the BEA has lost a tremendous amount of credibility here in the withholding such information, IF THIS IS TRUE.

IF TRUE, the failure to deviate is very relevant to the...

In some defense to the PF, the PNF and the Captain apparently had SA issues as well.

ACARS

After spending two years looking at the ACARS messages there some questions I would like to ask the regulars that may be relevant---or not?

prim and sec shutdowns

Svarin

How do the prim and sec faults layer into your scenario?

Stated differently, does AP re-engagement come before or after these messages?

Thanks.

Sleepy Crew

AlphaZulu, I read this the same way you did. The crew had comm issues for 25 minutes up to 2:01, I would think this would have been enough stimulation to keep them awake for another 9 minutes.

Question: How erratic could the flight path be back to LKP? All I have seen to date is MM43's nice bank angle arc analyses, so this seems like a new proposition to me.
