The formula for local speed of sound is

LSS = 38.94 √(273 + 15)

which is 660.83

I guess the problem about doing the TR in BLR is that the pilot will have to give the DGCA technical exam for the endorsement. We know how painful and unreliable the DGCA exams are hence conversion...

If the your flight school is Part 141 approved, just get a copy of the certificate issued by the FAA.

I requested our Chief Pilot to sign it as an attestation but he refused to sign the FAA...
