Hey Mac I start 21st Feb on the tower course...

Hey Mac

I start 21st Feb on the tower course and received my pre-course material a few weeks before Christmas. Lots to study, but am enjoying it all. Anyone else getting through the study?

Haha yes im guilty, I did pull 1.5 g's too much.... in my assesment :O My assessor did find it pretty amusing, and reminded me of the 5.8-6.0G stress limit on the wings oops.

Stupidthursday, I'm also through to the course starting the 21/2, tower!!! Nothing could wipe the smile of my face right now.

Apparently there's 4 of us in the tower course.

Yes Mudrat, I also had the engine cut out during that same manoeuvre, although it just added to the fun of flying it :P Also had some close calls then the park brake had decided to undo itself....

Cheers everyone, will keep you posted on how it goes. Am very excited, have never been in a plane smaller than a 737 before so will be a very new experience!

Had my YOU session on 9th March 2010, Spec Testing mid-april, assesment day mid-may and my dossier was sent up 3 weeks later, so have gone through pretty well.
