Yup, AT on public holiday. KA office was empty. Even guy on reception was puzzled. There are 5 scheduled people per day for AT according to the sign in sheet though.

I had my IT on the 29th. I had my AT on 2 January.
You may still get called up for an AT. Time varies but they did say upto 4 weeks.

not much prep really. the english test is probably the same as the CX one. it's fairly strong british "posh" accent if i recall.

you need to have a HK ID card to apply for the cadet scheme. So if you don't have one of those cards... you can't apply.

a HK ID card is basically proof that you have the right of abode in HK.

you've got an English listening test, English grammer test - try listening to online radio...
