Whenever I click on a link to open a new page, it always comes up small so I have to maximise it. Can I somehow change the settings so new pages come up maximised? Thanks

The procedures for HF r/t is really no different than for VHF, ie you still talk into the mic and press transmit, and the phraseology is the same.

However HF is prone to a lot more interference...

All very confusing. At our unit some of us who can't remember who we are just use the callsign with no suffix. At least then you don't call yourself app or rad when you're in the twr and vice versa....

two of them in the circuit are a pair of shorts, and I once had occasion to advise a pilot who gave the wrong callsign that he had the wrong shorts on.
