Hmm. I'm expecting my lump sum within the next few days (ie within 10 working days of my last day of service). How optimistic am I?! Never mind, my veterans medal (?!) arrived in the post today.

I've just got back from the States. Anheuser-Busch parks are definitely free for all military - that's Busch Gardens and Seaworld. There was even a separate ticket booth so we didn't need to queue....
