how the hell do you end up with 2700 hrs and 500 737 in this country? I have 3000 hrs and still stuck on a piece of junk dash 8 :ugh: but hey i have it better than many others i know!

Surely not many people would be called for interview 3 DAYS after submitting an application..... I heard back after 2 weeks, then nothing for 6 weeks now. Fast track though...

I highly doubt QR will stop recruitment and cancel courses, they have over a hundred new aircraft on the way. Who is going to fly them when everyone is leaving?? If you read back...

If I am not mistaken, QR SO's are just FO's under extended training with a safety pilot. I am not sure how it works with long haul though :confused:

I doubt 100 QF pilots would take up the offer though. A320 gig @ Qatar isn't the most appealing job ever, especially for a current QF pilot...
