FI's looking for work.

Just looking into doing my FI add on in the UK but beforehand I was hoping to get an idea of how many FI's are out there looking for work.

If we can stay UK based that would be preferable.

Hiller for sale

There is a Hiller 12 E4 for sale on Online Helicopter Trader (http://www.onlinehelicoptertrader.com) which is in the UK. Maybe the owner would hire it out whilst on the market.

Good luck.

Hangarage.

For many years hangarage has seemed to be hard come by in many areas especially in the South. Is it cost, availability or both?

I suppose a three or more bladed helicopter would attract a...

Hangarage

What's the situation at Henstridge then?

I thought hangarage was available there and seeing as you have a helicopter I am sure Vanguard Helicopters could help.

Not much else in and around that...

Twin debate

787-1

'2. Gets you to the scene of the crash quicker.'

Two crew IFR

Rotorspeed,

Yes no doubt a twin IFR two crew helo would be safer, of course it would but that's not how it's done in the U.S. How far do we delve into the safety culture box to provide a sensible...

Two crew at night

Single pilot at night, what's wrong with that?

Do we not train pilots any more to be able to fly on their own at night? If not then we may as well write off the small commercial industry if we...

Inputshaft, thanks for clearing that up.

Never buy the A model of any helicopter I was told many years ago. I believe in it.
Hopefully nothing wrong with the Cabri but with the recent 66 accidents there could be some sense in this.
