I'm assuming that you mean the very first seat in the 747 on the main deck. I certainly do not like that particular seat! I was in 1B on an SQ flight SIN/SFO, the thought of spending hours there...

If you go to SQ's home page you can even see what movies are being screened.

The flight from SIN - AKL is a 777 or 744 service.
