I was told pretty much the same. +2000TT with some turbine time. Was not informed of any minimum turbine time, nor of any PIC time requirement, but I'm sure it would help.

I found this book to be a big disappointment. It is extremely thorough in the amount of topics it covers, but is poorly written and poorly researched in many spots.
