Im 29. 30 is not too old guys. i m sure SIA will at least give you the chance for interview. to get in the list for 2nd interview you gotta convince them irrespective of your age.

hi zacklim. I have not heard from SIA yet as well. I hope they will get rolling with the interview process soon. Its a good chance to prepare well for the interviews in the mean time. all the best :)

having prior experience does not necessarily guarantee the seat. i heard SIA prefers candidates without any prior experience.
