Once you come out of VNAV PTH by changing modes how do you get back into it rather than VNAV SPD? Is it just as simple as closing speed intervene window or do you need to be in LNAV or on the profile...

When operating in hot places with temps of say over ISA + 15 what are the considerations to the operation of a jet aircraft. Im not talking hot and high, just hot. eg possble EGT over temps etc.
