When I did assessments (not Cabair) only the SI system seemed to be examined. However, in the ATPL theory exams metres, lbs, inches, kg etc will all be used freely so it is worth being conversant...

I believe it has been reduced as a Chest X-ray is no longer required for Class 1 (from the CAA website).

I have done the Class 1 initial recently and it cost £330.
