It was routinely taking 18 days for letters and over a month for parcels (2kg limit). Eblueys were anywhere from a day to a week - depending on the printer...

They have never left - ATC (albeit with an 18 month break in '93-'94) and Survival Equipment is still RAF, and now there are a number of RAF staff in the Logistics Brigade HQ....
