I use Opera to access both Yahoo mail and Gmail and I have not (yet) had any similar problems. Are cookies enabled for Yahoo mail and login.yahoo.com on your desk top computer?

It is almost certain the "deleted" records will still be there, but "flagged" as deleted. That is how all database systems I have used work, and I don't think MYSQL or Access will be any different. ...
