You need the legal right to work in Canada. Without this, you cannot work as a pilot in Canada. No company will sponsor you.

There's zero benefit to converting licenses or putting any other effort...

There were no audible sounds coming from the engine like those you hear with compressor stalls. Is it possible to have a compressor stall with virtually no noticable sound?

I was riding with a collegue who flies a King Air 200.

On approach I was watching ahead through the cockpit and somewhere probably 4-5 miles final, one of the engine torques started surging....

I gave up on CX after the first year in the pool when it became apparent that they had no intention of using the poolies, but rather recruit cadets on local terms.

I've since changed companies...

So, CX called me for the "fast track"

I'm one the of the DESO candidates from 2008 who were basically dismissed in favor of cadets after waiting over a year in the hold pool.

Well, wouldn't you know it, recruitment called me recently...

With 250hrs it will be difficult to find a pilot job in Canada just like everywhere else.
