Coventry Airport

Hi everyone
Been overseas for a few months, nice to see the airport is close to opening again, but still no clue as to who might fly there???
will it ba an airport, aerodrome, airfield?

Just thought i would pop back into this thread, pleased talks are ongoing to get airport legally operational.
Just one small point, when it was operational before nobody flew there?

Of course i realise the cost differential in private flying from COV as opposed to BHX.
However it is a sad fact of life that an International Airport cannot survive on club flying revenue only,...

At least Brighton does not pretend to have a real airport and realises they have Gatwick pretty close!
Ever heard of Birmingham airport? i think its quite close to Coventry?

Perhaps the directors of ALL the affected airlines would not want the e-clear money to be paid?
once its been paid to the receivers its gone for good? interesting to see who are the shareholders in...
