Perfect advice from Jerry B. The trick is to start trying to equalise the minute the descent starts, don't wait until the pain has started. Constantly repeat procedure until you have landed.

I completely agree. Cabin crew is not just a job its a way of life and once in your system its hard to get it out! Sure, you will have bad days but you will get that in any job. You may get nasty...
