i knew it was odd to see any A340 at dublin nevermind a Virgin atlantic one with a line full of fire engines and ambulances with sirens on at the end of the runway!

Seen a virgin atlantic a340 land at aprox 4pm on Friday 21st Nov

There was also a load of fire engines and ambulances with sirens on at the end of the runway as well

Wonder what was going on?...

Is it just my imagination but do the MD-8x range...

Is it just my imagination but do the MD-8x range seem to be involved in more accidents than other types of aircraft?

I have travelled in and out of EWR on numerous occasions with continental on aircraft that were different...

My friend has a fear of MD80s and he is flying to iceland tomorrow with Aviajet from dublin. will it be a md80? I see their fleet is mainly md80s
