I agree, it was dissapointing not to get an interview having travelled there- a particularly harsh process. I would have thought cutting more people at the video stage would have been fairer...

I learned on a 152 and going onto an Archer III took be exactly 1hour 15mins... checked the logbook there, and this was after about 65hours TT and about 4...

I'd have to agree with those against this checkout. Like many have said its not a "big thing", and I personally believe it's blown totaly out of proportion.

Sure there are differences in airspace...
