There's still hope

The GDOJ of 1/1/14 is contingent upon VARA pilots having voted up the EBA by the middle of 2015. After this time, VAA and VIPA would "revisit their position" on the GDOJ for VARA pilots.

I would suggest they have high direct entry...

I would suggest they have high direct entry requirements because they have a cadet scheme. As Boney said, they want guys who can move into the LHS relatively quickly, hence the 2000hr min requirement.

HB, I heard recently there were also some A330 spots (Capt & FO) opening up, with a possible requirement to backfill some 737 FO spots post-bid. Will be interesting to see whether they fill them...

Somehow 10-15 years in the RHS looks a whole lot more attractive than 15 more years in GA/turboprops. Can anyone throw out a realistic ball park figure for 777 CFO after allowances etc?
