Again thanks for all the replies,seems to have opened a whole can of worms as to the legality of some of the retro fitted systems. Hopefully with the law of averages i wont encounter...

Think you might find that the two VC-10's that were parked next to the 747 before departure were using the Ascot call sign. He was just N747.

Guys the 747 belongs to Fry's Electricals USA, only seats 100 as its a vip fit including state-room upfront (double bed/shower etc). It flew in from dallas and returned there today.Wasnt the ballet...

Gents, this is by no way a new problem-funding -remember when an Atk Sqn had 6 Lynx and 6 Gaz and then they got rid of the Gaz and you only had on a good day maybe 4 servicable aircraft in the whole...

UK military do all training on turbines(AS350) from basic to advanched rotory. I went solo in 13 hrs.:) best day of my life .

Right here goes ,I have recently been chopped/failed/rtu'd however you want to put it from a military flying course. I had completed 12 of the 14 month course but found i just couldnt get the tactics...
