Nothing to do with Comair. BA had a separate franchise with Regional Air which was part of AirKenya. They closed down in 2005.

I would imagine there is a slight difference...

I would imagine there is a slight difference between a Cessna 206 and a commercial airliner flying at 35,000 feet across multiple countries.

I believe it is a permanent move, in future all flights will go from London to Riyadh and then on to Dammam or Jeddah depending on day of week. I'm not aware of any plans to drop the Riyadh stop...

No, but many Saudis I know like the First/Club class on BA.

From Jeddah, BMI have really ruled themselves out of serious contention by going via Riyadh.

In today's Saudi papers it says BA will be back in Saudi from 29th March flying 5 times a week to Riyadh and Jeddah with 777 and 767 respectively.

Says in the Saudi press today that BA will be flying to both Riyadh and Jeddah from 29th March, 5 times a week to each with a 777 and 767 respectively.

No need to go via Riyadh with BMI any more....
