Catania runway closure due to damaged aircraft

One of our planes is stuck at LICC. Apparently the runway is closed due to a damaged a/c.

I found it in the notams, runway should be available in a few hours.

Anyone has more info? Type,...

Mistral Air exit by august

Heard through the grapevine that Mistral air is retraining their guys on the 737. Contract guys have a contract until august, and by that time Mistral (operating 2 or 3 146-es iirc ) will stop...

Heard on the radio a eyewitness report:

" Saw the turkish airliner lower than normal on approach. Suddenly it pitched up quite steep, but the pilot recovered and a/c assumed a normal attitude....
