As of 1st April Swissport BHX now handle TCX.

Swissport also handle Air Transat at BHX.

I think CY and KM have stopped regular services from BHX and Armavia yet to start a scheduled flight.

The rumour that menzies are coming just won't go away. I would presume that they are just waiting to get a contract.

Rumour has it that Spanair have pulled the plug on the BCN and MAD routes before they even started!

I can see some of the old aviance managment team...

I can see some of the old aviance managment team turning up at swissport over the coming months and sorting things out.

If swissport manage this then its only a matter of time before they start...

The reason Aviance did not get the monarch contract last year was because Swissport was rumoured to had offered £500k to stay. Monarch could not refuse and extended the contract on a 1 year deal.

Aviance did not help out as such on the ramp, but they mop up the odd and sods such as the Star1 that don't have a nominated agent at BHX.



I think every available bus in the area was used....

probabley 3/4 of the pax at the weekend are for ATQ, but the only connection offered on a thur is BKK. Mostly local pax with the odd BKK...

Agreed eu01. No frills carriers in Europe don’t tend to sell tickets like that. You are effectively buying 2 one-way tickets with Ryanair so it’s never going to be cheaper.

Although not signed on the dotted line it looks like Swissport have obtained the Turkish Airlines contract. This will be bad news for aviance as this was much need business through the dark winter...
