With the 700/900/1000 wing anti ice will not switch off...

On the Fokker 50 the gustlock is removed and controls checked during lineup or in high winds after lineup. Mind you holding the stick in high winds is not a bad idea as the gust lock can fail :}

Why are the minima at LCY lower for the BA146/RJ than for even CAT A aircraft? Looking at the chart and assuming the same climb gradient the Avro is still below CAT A, B, and C.
