Aside from the safety aspect of turbine engines in the 406, lets not forget about the cost of avgas.Up north it is often 3 times the price of jetA1, thats if you can get it in the first place.

Go for the 1900 TR

The B200 and the B1900 are the most common in Africa.The PT6 engine seems to handle the hot and high temps that are commonplace in the continent.
Nothing wrong with the Metro but not many to be seen...
