F/O with >3000hrs =basic HKD 30,000 / >1500hrs=25,000 /<1500hrs=20,000
Captains >3000 hrs =HKD50,000 / <3000hrs 40,000

+ allowance + productivity pay + MBA(G)*=15,000

So, does PAL still gives P5000 pesos per year of service for the separation pay? ( if less than 20 yrs service)

Good point guys. I agree on this one, knowing that there is no ECAM about the APU i.e. APU Fault. Shutting down both engines is one good idea. I can only suggest, Ask if the station have a Ground...
