With the ownership, reliability becomes essential. No need for the fancy electronics aircraft in the tropics. Get a proven airframe, like a G4 (SP), and let it sit in the tropics most of the time....

Just a legality, the course hands out some materials. No extra QRH.
A few posters. 2 hr course squeezed at the end of the day. Instructor wants to go home and you too at that time....

Tried for a long time to print the Jeppview charts on my Mac. Always a hassle and never a solution.
