But you certainly don't have to do it in a Twin, the cheaper cost on the other thread (circa 15k) is for an SE IR. There aren't many around...

I meant that when you're hours building, the hours you need to fly are mandatory. Once you have done the minimum PIC time, the rest can either be PIC or dual - but the total required...
