I did it no probs from r22/r44 to 206 within 5 hours. 206 very easy and forgiving to fly compared to r22. No great complexity for turbines compared to pistons. Just learn the theory of how they work...

Check out thunder city. I did a flight in one of their lightnings and it blew me away. Being greedy I went for a flight in in a hawker hunter later the same day doing various aerobatic manouvres....

War story from my old mountain flying instructor who had lightning strike in 206 while on approach to land. Caused engine flameout but luckily he had auto re-ignite turned on which saved the day.

What is it worth?

Is there a helicopter equivalent of a parkers price guide or could someone guide me to a thread on helicopter valuation? Looking to sell my raven 11 and want to know what it is worth. Cheers.

bud007, there was an article in the times a couple of weeks ago concerning some quality of life index in UK. Aberdeen came out top while London came bottom. Maybe its not that bad up there.

Would rather crash in my R44 than a 206. R44 has nice collapsable seats and the engine wont come crashing through the roof and through my skull.
