They may keep major destinations alive like LHR, FRA, SYD, BKK , PEK and a few more and move the other aircrafts up North, getting more A320's full economy maybe...

Taking into account the number of DEC on all fleet, and the seniority now, I would say between 4 to 5 years to command on A320.

And apparently a lot of guys could deal directly with Air China and not through any pilot agency , with longer contracts and block OFF days...
