It's quite possible you will need your ear(s) syringing but do not go flying... it will make the problem a lot worse as I found out when I decided to fly with a blocked ear up to 10,000 feet...

The best thing to do is refer them to your flight school/club for any comments... that way you don't say anything that could get you into trouble with the club or the investigators.
