Overhead Panel maintenance

On Boeings, can anyone tell me if the whole central overhead instrument panel swings down into the flight deck to allow access behind for maintenance?

If anyone has any pictures or diagrams they...

Only supported in the US though and not Europe...

Only supported in the US though and not Europe (well Airbus anyway) due to the extra avionics required for LORAN (too expensive). Europe will likely stick with SSR and DME as a supplement to GPS.

Hi all,

I'd be very interested in hearing from pilots and ATCos on their experiences of flying/controlling CDAs. I'm particularly interested in idle power descents from cruise to final approach....
