This system is electrical and the operation you are talking about is true for a mechanical system.

Yes, the A330 is from Novair. It has Novair cockpit-crew with some Cubana F/O´s and cabin-crew is Cubana.
That contract will end april 30, then Air Atlanta will take over with a B747-400.

When I did an ETOPS course with Airbus in Toulouse I was told that ETOPS means "ENGINES TURNING OR PASSENGERS SWIMMING" so it cant have anything to do with cargo...
