sorry for the confusion on the posting of the productivity pay. ofcourse it had to come out. i'd imagine a lot of crew may start moving out of the company starting next year if they didn't get that...

there's something to be gleaned from the timing of PALs increase in pay for pilots.it's being given now that the Christmas holidays are coming and "family" reasons for why pilots dont want to leave...

its looking like PAL doesnt want to worry about crew in the wide body A340's and B747's leaving to fly with other airlines so maybe its only these crew who are being offered the new incentive(loyalty...

anyone hear about some asian airlines getting busy with the idea of buying the 5 year contracts of PAL pilots so they can be free to join their company and then have the pilots pay thru salary...
