Ok, so what are you suggesting to do for a normal landing (dry) having only your QRH. Do you just take the distance stated in the QRH (LDR) and check if it is less than the LDA? Without any factor...

According to the regulations, you have to be able to stop your A/C within 60% of the LDA. So a factor of 1.67 on the Landing Distance required. And if the runway is wet is should be +15% so in total...
