We are still operating an Alvis Leonides in a Percival Provost.
These engines are not used by many aircraft. The same basic engine was used in the Percival Prince with some fuel system...

Thanks for the confirmation Wally Mk2, regarding tan colour of the Dove at Wallan.
When I saw it there I always thought it was a strange for a Dove in that colour - was it a corporate scheme?

Could be wrong but thought the Dove at Wallan was a sort of tan with a little bit of red on it. Might be dreaming about another one I saw somewhere.
