TF-FIB is not going to fly for Flyglobespan no. It will be leased to a airline in Finland.

For your info, that particular aircraft has only been in service at Icelandair for 2 years. Previous owner was Iberia.

There was a lot of damage on the elevator as a result of the wingslide hitting it during the descent. Icelandair did not get a approval to ferry the aircraft to homebase BIKF.

They are looking very nice. 3 of them are already installed with winglets, TF-FIJ, TF-FIN and TF-FIP. TF-FIO is now in Kelowna (CYLW) to be installed with winglets, as are at least 4 more.

I'm not sure of the exact height, but a MD-11 can fit in there, and the distance from ground to top of the vertical stab is 57' 6'' (17,53 metres)
