I've had a very minor op to deal with a varicocele in a testicle. I haven't yet told my AME - I'm not currently flying either.

As you say Lister, it only says Solo from rear. However many L4's have a radio in the rear. That might be a consideration, but then again if in class G it isn't a requirement
