I flew to LHR recently on the morning flight from one of the gates with an airbridge - it was lashing rain, but it still wasn't used... :confused: :ugh:

Missed approach at LHR tonight?

My girlfriend flew into LHR with EI this evening at about 9:26 and it seemed to her untrained eye that the plane landing afterwards executed a go around.

Anyone know what was the reason?

Yes, the rail links are good.

Only 20 minutes to Manchester Piccadilly, and there are also direct trains to various other cities.

I was at a wedding in the Carlton Hotel near Kinsale on Saturday night.. they have a lovely terrace out the back overlooking Oyster Haven, which is also facing out towards the approach of runway 35....
