If all else fails, there is a possibility that you may have an odd static problem. Static can do odd things so I would check that your aileron, flap, elevator and rudder bonding is good....

For those that are interested, the UK CAA website shows MK as having registered 10 747's. Of those, 6 hold current ARC's. They are G-MKBA, G-MKCA, G-MKGA, G-MKHA, G-MKJA, G-MKKA.
